GERA-IDENT completed integration of its IV. customizing unit into running production. This machine setup allows custom UHF label programming and thermal transfer printing according to customer demands. Integrated cameras allow for quality control of the printing or scanning of printed information to be programmed into the Chip. Even thick UHF labels can be flawlessly processes because of a “Head Up Function”. During customization, the UHF labels also undergo an additional UHF quality inspection. Defective labels are marked and may be removed on request. The control software was developed internally and can be adapted to specific processing rules. On request, customizing data can be written into a database simultaneously. Ten different customer orders have been realized since the startup of this new machine setup.
This IV. customizing unit is a considerable increase of capacity as well as diversity for customer specific demands.
