General information collected when visiting our website
When you access our website information is automatically stored by our system by means of a cookie (ref. Cookies). Such information (server logfiles) includes the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your service provider, your IP address and similar.
This information is technically necessary to be able to correctly supply the website content requested by you and arises in any case when using the internet. The information is processed for the following purposes in particular:
- to ensure a trouble-free build-up of the website
- to ensure a smooth use of our website
- to assess the system security and stability, and
- for other administrative purposes.
The provision of the a.m. data is neither required by law nor contract. But without the IP address the service and the functionality of our website are not guaranteed. And it may also be possible that individual services are not available or are restricted.
The basis of data processing is Art.6 para.1 lit. f GDPR.
Recipient of the data is a company based in Germany that has been commissioned by us with the hosting of the website.
SSL encryption
To protect the security of your data, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.
Cookies
As many other websites we have been using so-called Cookies. Cookies are small text files transmitted from a website server to your hard disk. Through this we receive automatically certain data, such as the IP address, browser used, operating system and your connection to the internet. The legal basis for the processing of personal data using cookies is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The information contained in the cookies helps facilitate navigation and provide a correct display of our website.
But of course, you can view our website without cookies. Internet browsers are routinely set so that they accept cookies. Generally, you can disable the use of cookies via your browser settings. Use the help functions of your internet browser to learn how to change these settings. Please note that individual functions of our website may not work if you disable the use of cookies.

Contact form
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, the information given in the contact form including the contact details given there will be processed by us to deal with the inquiries and for any subsequent questions.
The data given in the contact form are processed on the basis of a justified interest (Art 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). The contact form is to make communication with us easy. If you want to contact us to ask for an offer, the data entered are processed for measures prior to entering into a contract (Art 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).
Your data will be erased 12 months at the latest after your inquiry has been processed. If a contract is concluded, we will be bound to the statutory storage period pursuant to the Commercial Code and erase your data upon expiry of the relevant time periods.
Your personal data are provided on a voluntary basis. But your inquiry can only be dealt with if you give your name, email address and the reason for your inquiry.
Recipients of your data may be suppliers.
Application of Matomo
On our website, we use the analytics tool Matomo by InnoCraft Ltd. (150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand; “Matomo”). The processing of your personal data is based on our legitimate interest in the optimal and user-oriented design of the website, in accordance with Article 6(f) of the GDPR. Our interest in analyzing the use of our website outweighs your interest in minimal data collection. This is because the analysis enables us to evaluate and continually improve our online services. Furthermore, due to Matomo’s privacy-sensitive configuration, your rights will only be minimally impacted, placing your interest below ours.
The following information, among others, are hereby collected: anonymized IP address, details about the browser and device used, files that have been clicked or downloaded by you, clicks on links to external websites, referrer URL (the page from which you reached us), the URL of our website, the number of site visits, the time of the first site visit, the date and time of the visit, the time zone, and location data. Pseudonymized usage profiles can be created using this information. The data collected using Matomo is neither used to personally identify you nor linked to other personal data.
No cookies are being used. Instead, data collection is performed using privacy-friendly fingerprinting, with the visitor ID being renewed every 24 hours. The processing of your personal data is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, as well as our legitimate interest in the optimal and user-oriented design of the website. You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for reasons arising from your particular situation at any time. Use of script libraries (Google Webfonts)
To show our content correctly and graphically appealing in all browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries, such as Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google Webfonts are transmitted to the cache of your browser to avoid repeated loading. If the browser does not support Google Webfonts or inhibits the access, the content will be displayed in a standard font.
The activation of script libraries or font libraries will automatically induce a connection to the operator of the libraries. Theoretically it might be possible – however not clear whether and if so for what purpose – that operators of relevant libraries collect data.

Use of Google Maps
This website uses Google Maps API to visually display geographical information. When Google Maps is used data on the visotors’use of map functions are collected, processed and used by Google. Embedded YouTube videos
We embed Youtube videos on some of our websites. Operator of the relevant plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a website with a YouTube plugin, a connection to Youtube servers will be established. Youtube is then informed which site you visited. When you are logged in your Youtube account, your surf behavior can be assigned to personally. You can prevent it by logging out from your Youtube account beforehand.
When a Youtube video is started the provider uses cookies which collect information on the user behavior.
Those who have disabled the storage of cookies for the Google Add-on program, may expect no such cookies when viewing the Youtube videos. But Youtube also stores non-personal use information in other cookies. If you do not want it to happen, you will have to block the storage of cookies in the browser.

Links to external sites
On our websites you will find links to other sites, e.g. Facebook, Google+, Xing etc. When you click the graphics you will be referred to the relevant provider and move outside our websites.
