The Bertelsmann Foundation awards GERA-IDENT GmbH the seal of quality for being a „Family-friendly“ employer.
„Our qualified and motivated employees are our most important asset and are essential for the success of the company. Every employee knows that they can leave work in an emergency situation, while counting on our team, that supports each other.“ This statement by managing director Ramin Hassan has been confirmed with the award of the „Family-friendly employer“ seal.
The Bertelsmann’s Foundation seal of approval is designed for small and medium-sized enterprises. The family-friendly and life-phase-oriented personnel policy of the company have been assessed by an independent auditor on the basis of a survey for all employees. The survey focuses on the areas of „corporate and management culture“, „communication“, „work organization“, „support measures“ as well as „strategy and sustainability“. Key questions are: „How is family friendliness lived and communicated in a company?“ and „Which support measures are available?“
Flexible working hours, such as flexitime and trust-based working hours, count as just an example of how the company promotes a work-life balance. Above all, the employees appreciate individual considerations of individual challenges, whether it‘s childcare, caring for relatives or personal development.
This long cultivated corporate culture has now come to fruition. Due to the current situation, and after the national shut down of schools and daycare centers, finding individual solutions is now more important than ever.
