Our story

GERA-IDENT was founded in December 2005 in Gera (Thuringia), focusing primarily on Auto-ID, specifically passive HF and UHF-RFID. As an independent medium-sized company, we have been supporting various international and global companies with our products and services for many years. In doing so, we rely on practical and occasionally unconventional solutions, while closely cooperating with our customers and partners. Market leaders from a wide range of industries value us as an accomplished and innovative RFID supplier.

Our core competencies

We develop and manufacture customized RFID labels, tags and antennas (passive HF, UHF and dual), as well as complete, automated and individually designed identification and transmission stations (ID points). Application-specific hardware and software interfaces round off our product portfolio. Based on these experiences, we are able to plan and integrate complete RFID systems.

Most of our products consist of customer-specific solutions, that are designed and developed in close cooperation with our customers, hence enabling us to offer them the best products for their respective applications. In the course of the design and development process, we focus on 4 key areas: the object to be identified, the environment, the application and last but not least, the specific customer requirements.
