Additionally to the production of industrial RFID labels, GERA-IDENT GmbH has intensified its focus in the last few years on the development of customized RFID hardware. This means that a product is developed and manufactured, from its conception and prototypes all the way to its serial production, in close cooperation with the customer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Another project has now been successfully completed and carried forward into serial production. Together with a developer and a manufacturer of radiotherapy systems, an RFID system has been developed for the detection of probes on X-ray machines. The aim is to ensure that the correct lens barrel is being attached to the device, depending on the medical requirements. The system consists of a reader and an antenna in the flange, as well as a transponder for each of the various tubes. The antenna and transponder are completely enclosed by metal, turning this task into a real challenge. By combining the know-how of both companies in design engineering in the medical field and in high-frequency technology in demanding environments, the challenge could be resolved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
GERA-IDENT invests continuously in expanding its expertise, in order to be technically and personally equipped for such developments, thereby enabling companies including smaller medium-sized ones, to master the challenges of Industry 4.0 and digitalization with smart products.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
